Hi, I'm Natasha. I'm a photographer based in Colchester, and I work with families and businesses across Essex and Suffolk.
Some days that means a newborn session on someone's sofa with the heating turned right up. Other days it's a branding shoot in a coffee shop, or headshots for a whole team in their office.
Whoever's in front of the camera, I want them to come away from the session relaxed and looking like themselves. I make sure you know what to expect and how to prepare well before the day. Then we start with a chat, so you're relaxed before I take a single photo.

If you hate having your photo taken
Most people who get in touch tell me early on that they feel awkward in front of a camera. Parents worry the kids won't play along. Business owners would honestly rather be doing almost anything else.
I'm used to it and I plan for it. You'll know what to expect before the day, I'll give you simple things to do instead of poses to hold, and we can stop for a break whenever you need one. Nobody has to perform.
Neurodivergent-friendly sessions
I'm neurodivergent myself, so I know how much a new place, new people and a camera pointed at you can take out of you.
If you or your children are autistic, have ADHD or have sensory needs, let me know when you book. We'll plan the session around what helps, whether that's a quieter spot, extra time to settle in, or a clear plan of what happens when.
A little bit about me...
Hi, I'm Natasha
Before photography, I did a design degree and spent years working in product development, which is probably why I notice the small details most people miss. These days I'm a mum of two (three if you include the labradoodle), so home is loud and messy most days. I wouldn't change it, and it's a big part of why I photograph families the way I do.
My style is natural, calm and guided without being overly posed. I'll give you enough direction that you're never stood there wondering what to do with your hands, but mostly I'm watching for the bits in between, like a laugh you didn't plan or a hug that goes on a bit too long.
After years of photographing both families and businesses, I know what makes each one feel easy rather than staged, whether that's a toddler mid-tantrum or a founder who'd rather be anywhere else.
From your newborn to your leadership team, it's the same eye and the same relaxed approach.

Families
I'm based in Colchester, and most of my sessions are within an hour or so of home. Newborn and family sessions happen in your house or somewhere outdoors you love, like a local park, a field near you or a bit of the Essex coast. Travel within 30 miles of Colchester is included in all my family packages.
Businesses
For branding and headshots, I come to you. That might be your office, studio or shop, or a location that suits your business. I work across Essex and Suffolk, and London is available on request.

A few common questions
How much does a session cost?
Family sessions start from £350, headshots from £295 and personal branding from £495. Each service page has the full details of what's included. Corporate and team photos are priced on an individual basis.
How far ahead should I book?
Do you have a studio for photos?
Newborn: any time after your 12 week scan. Maternity: a few weeks before your third trimester is ideal. Family sessions need at least a month's notice in peak summer, and branding shoots at least two weeks so we can plan properly.
No, and that's on purpose. Family sessions take place at home or outdoors, and business shoots happen where you work. People relax far more somewhere they already know.
