Those first few weeks with a newborn can feel like a blur of feeding, nappy changes and minimal sleep, so the thought of organising a photoshoot might feel like one thing too many.
But the thing I hear most often from parents is how grateful they are that they did it. I regularly get messages saying their photos made them cry (in the best way possible!) Because these images aren’t just about how tiny your baby is. They’re about freezing time on how it felt in those early days.
Your baby will never be this small again, and I’d love to help you preserve those memories with a relaxed, natural newborn photoshoot at home.

Why a newborn photoshoot at home is perfect
There is nothing quite like the comfort of your own home, especially when you've just had a baby. It's a magical way to tell not only your family story, but your baby's first home too. And the bonus is you don't need to rush out of the house on time either!
Before you panic about tidying or cleaning, let me say I do not care if your house is messy. We only need a few well lit spots to create some magic during your newborn photoshoot at home, and if things need moving I will do it. You just need to relax and make yourself a cup of tea that you can drink for once whilst it's hot!

Wondering when to book your newborn photography session?
We all know baby's turn up when they want, which makes it difficult to plan a newborn photography session, right? Well guess what, I have the perfect workaround for that so read on.
Newborn photoshoots are booked in with a provisional date 10-14 days after your due date. All you need to do is let me know when they're here and we can finalise the date then. I only take on a few newborn photography clients per month to ensure I can be flexible, so booking in advance after your 12 week scan is strongly advised.
If your gorgeous little one has already made their way earth-side, please send me a message to check my availability for newborn photography as I always try to accommodate last minute requests where I can.
